Trans-Lux Names Lyte to Vice President of Canadian Subsidiary

Trans-Lux Corporation (AMEX: TLX), a leading supplier of programmable electronic information displays, announced the appointment of Dennis Lyte to Vice President of Trans-Lux Canada, Ltd., the Company's Canadian subsidiary.  Lyte continues as Sales Manager of the Canadian company, a position he had held since 2001. 

Trans-Lux electronic display systems are used in the financial, transportation, gaming and advertising industries, among others, to deliver critical information, reduce passenger congestion and present marketing and promotional messages, while creating exciting, high-tech environments.   

"During his 23-year career with Trans-Lux, Dennis has developed excellent customer relationships and extensive knowledge of our display products and applications," says Thomas Mahoney, Trans-Lux Senior Vice President, Sales.  "These attributes, combined with his energy, creativity and emphasis on customer service, uniquely qualify Dennis to successfully serve both Trans-Lux and our Canadian client base." 

Lyte joined Trans-Lux Corporation in Norwalk, Connecticut in 1985 as a Service Technician.  In 1992 he transferred to Trans-Lux Canada, Ltd. as Technical Specialist and was named Service Manager in 1994.  In 1996 he became a Sales Representative.  He was promoted to Sales Manager in 2001, specializing in display applications for transportation facilities. 

Lyte is a graduate of Devry Technical Institute in Woodbridge, NJ.  He lives in Burlington, Ontario with his family and is based at the company's Burlington office.
