Michael R. Mulcahy
President & Co-Chief Executive Officer

Michael R. Mulcahy joined Trans-Lux in 1967 and has contributed to the success of the company in key positions in field service, product management and sales, as well as various senior management positions.

During his tenure in sales, Mr. Mulcahy pioneered the company's sales efforts in its core financial services market and was responsible for large trading floor display system installations such as the Chicago Board of Trade, Chicago Mercantile Exchange and other major financial exchanges. Originally responsible for establishing Trans-Lux's International Sales operations, Mr. Mulcahy expanded Trans-Lux's presence in various countries in Europe, as well as Australia, Mexico and the mid-East.


Thomas Brandt
Executive Vice President & Co-Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Brandt oversees the company's finance and real estate operations and Entertainment Division, which currently operates 64 theatre screens in 12 locations in the western Mountain States. Having joined Trans-Lux in 1985, Mr. Brandt previously served as Senior Vice President of Trans-Lux's Entertainment Division. He continues to oversee special projects including theatre acquisitions and new development.

Mr. Brandt is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the American Theatre Wing and a voter for the Tony® Awards.


Angela D. Toppi
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Angela Toppi is responsible for the company's Accounting and Finance operations and oversees its Human Resources function. She also serves as Treasurer and Secretary for the company.

Ms. Toppi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY, and holds a CPA certificate from the state of New York. Prior to joining Trans-Lux in 1986, she was with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, for five years.


Al L. Miller
Executive Vice President

Al L. Miller is responsible for overseeing electronic display manufacturing for Trans-Lux, including purchasing, materials planning and warehousing. Mr. Miller is also responsible for the company's worldwide sales operations and MIS functions. In addition, he oversees the operations of the company's outdoor subsidiaries located in Des Moines, IA.

A native of New York, Mr. Miller attended the University of New Haven and received a degree in Science and Industrial Management Technology from Norwalk Technical College.


Thomas Mahoney
Senior Vice President, Sales

Thomas Mahoney is responsible for overseeing the domestic and international sales efforts of Trans-Lux's indoor display division. He joined Trans-Lux in 1967 and has held a series of positions of increasing responsibility within the company, including Assistant Vice President of Outdoor Display Sales and Distributor Networks, Eastern Regional Sales Director and Vice President of Financial Sales.

Mr. Mahoney attended New York University's School of Business.


 John A. Long
Senior Vice President

John Long's responsibilities include operations of Trans-Lux West, the company's commercial product division, and Trans-Lux Fair-Play, the company's catalog scoreboard division. He joined Fairtron, a predecessor of Trans-Lux Fair-Play, as Controller and Chief Financial Officer in 1996 and was hired by Trans-Lux in 1997.

Based at the company's production facility in Des Moines, Iowa, Mr. Long previously held positions in finance and accounting in both private industry and public accounting. A graduate of Central Missouri State University, Mr. Long received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He received his CPA certificate in 1970 and earned a Master degree in taxation from Drake University in Iowa.


Karl P. Hirschauer
Senior Vice President, Engineering

Karl Hirschauer is responsible for the company's engineering research and development activities, as well as providing the critical function of interfacing engineering with to meet customer needs. Mr. Hirschauer also provides product development assistance to the Company's subsidiaries that produce outdoor electronic display products for the commercial and sports markets.

Mr. Hirschauer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Haven.
